Winter Is Coming, Again

The wait has come to an end after HBO released the first trailer of The House of Dragons. This piece of fantasy spin-off promises legendary action on a huge scale, with “gods, fire, kings, and blood”. Resistance is futile!

To be honest we never recovered from the Game of Thrones and now we are bombarded with the grace of House Targaryen. We will never forget our beloved Daenerys Targaryen and what the writers did to her but man, this trailer looks promising!

What is the show about?

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series, which is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen. The story of House Targaryen will be told.

What the cast looks like?

Talking about the main cast Paddy Considine will be portraying King Viserys Targaryen. A kind man, who only wishes to carry the legacy of his grandfather, but we’ve learned from GOT, good men do not survive as a great king.

Alicent Hightower will be played by Olivia Cooke, daughter of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King, and the comeliest woman in the Seven Kingdoms.

Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen would be the king’s first-born child. Pure Valyrian blood, and a dragon rider. Many would say that Rhaenyra was born with everything…but she was not born a man.

Matt Smith to play Prince Daemon Targaryen. The younger brother of King Viserys and heir to the throne, Daemon is a peerless warrior and a dragon rider who possesses the true blood of the dragon.

Where to watch?

House of the Dragon, the prequel to Game of Thrones, is coming to HBO and HBO Max. It is supposed to premiere in 2022.
